The purpose of this newsletter

Assalamu alaikum, and welcome to Islamic Insight. This is an islamic newsletter created by Salman, and Abdullahi. But, why?

You see, in our modern day society, the majority of Muslims lack proper knowledge when it comes to their Deen. Especially nowadays, where the internet has provided immense amounts of false information, confusing numerous Muslims, and sometimes resulting in people questioning their faith.

We're here to clear the mess up for ourselves, taking you guys along the journey. Here are some of many benefits:

• This is in English, so it'll be easier for non-arabic speakers to connect with the Deen.

• Ambiguous topics, which most people find confusing, will be dissected into palatable posts, which are well researched and referenced.

• Expand your islamic knowledge and boost your imaan.

• Islamic topics presented in a more relaxed and conversational method.

• The famous hadith: “Whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, God will facilitate for him a path to Paradise.”

• Raising awareness among the youth (or anyone else) about the importance of learning our religion.

Insha'Allah, the plan is to post once every two weeks Insha'Allah, sometimes perhaps even three times a month, depending on our schedules.

Keep in mind that we aren't scholars, so Islam is innocent from any mistakes that we could possibly make, and we'd be more than happy if you point out any blemishes.
